ボディボーダーに人気のウェーブプール、サーフスタジアム静波。初のボディボードコンテストが開催された。その模様と、2018年ワールドチャンピオンの鈴木彩加の帰国に合わせて、彼女の夫で世界ランカーのマッククリリー、そして地元静岡のDKライダー鈴木啓祐、鎌倉から藤岡慶らが集結し行われたDKセッションの様子を紹介。

Maldives Trip: Yuka Nishimura & Kyra Shirahase
Yuka Nishimura, 2023 JPBA Women’s Grand Champion, and Kyra Shirahase, an idol talent who recently turned pro bodyboarder, traveled to the Maldives to compete.
After the contest, they headed to Thulusdhoo Island, where they teamed up with a local photographer for a stylish and dynamic photo session.

Bodyboard Contest at Surf Stadium Shizunami
Japan’s favorite wave pool for bodyboarders — Surf Stadium Shizunami — hosted its first-ever bodyboard contest!
To celebrate Ayaka Suzuki’s return to Japan (2018 World Champion), a special Drop Knee session was held with her husband and world-ranked rider Mack Crilley, local DK rider Keisuke Suzuki from Shizuoka, and Kei Fujioka from Kamakura.
